Dining Facilities

We offer an extensive breakfast menu with fresh ground coffee and home baking from our dining room which overlooks a lovely garden.

Breakfast.

Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room overlooking the garden.

Choose from;

v    Juices and a wide selection of cereals.

v    Creamy Oatmeal Porridge served with honey.

v    Cocktail of Fresh Fruit served with Organic Yoghurt.

v    Scrambled Eggs (free range) served with Smoked Salmon.

v    Traditional Irish Breakfast.

Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Herbal and Decaffeinated options available.

Breakfast served with Fionnuala’s Home Baked Breads and Preserves.

We try to cater for a wide variety of tastes and are happy to accommodate any special dietary needs where possible.

Bedrooms

There are 6 spacious ensuite bedrooms
one ground floor with bathtubs and
showers, colour TV, tea/coffee making
facilities, hair dryers and electric blankets

GREEN POLICY.

 

 Here at Annagry House we are committed to providing a quality service to our guests whilst minimising the environmental impact of our activities.  

Annagry House B&B is a member of the Green Tourist Business Scheme. We comply with the requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice.

We encourage our guests to support us in minimising our impact on the environment through involvement of various energy saving initiatives.

We support and promote the use of local produce, food, and crafts and businesses.

We believe that we have a duty of care towards the environment so that it maybe enjoyed by our visitors and local people into the future.

THESE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS WE DO TO CUT DOWN ON CARBON EMISSIONS AND SAVE ENERGY.

 

·         We have installed a central heating system which uses a condensing boiler.  The system is compatible for use with solar panels which we have also installed.

·          Radiators have thermostatic controls

·         Glass, Tin, Aluminium Cans, Plastic bottles, Paper and Cardboard, are recycled .Old linen, clothes and household goods are given to friends and family and charity shops.

·         We use low energy light bulbs where possible.

·         Most bathrooms have dual flush system to conserve water.

·         Mini kettles are used in bedrooms.

·         We don’t leave appliances on standby

·         We recycle plastic carrier bags and use long life bags for shopping.

·         We switch off lights in unoccupied rooms.

·         Some of our appliances are certified 'A' grade for efficiency.

·         We replace appliances with ones rated 'A' for efficiency.

·         We monitor our use of Gas, electricity and water – to try to make savings.

·         The garden plants and flowers, hanging baskets are watered from water which is collected rain.

·         Grass cutting is used to compost flower beds.

 

Annagry House is a non-smoking establishment. A supply of visitor information on attractions, places to visit, walks and timetables are available for guests.
